Another rainy Saturday and Audrey was asking for her own iPod sparked the creation of her latest build. Saturday afternoon was spent indoors helping Audrey build an iPod Bank. The deal is that once she fills her bank she will have enough money to buy her very own iPod.
The bank we chose to build was very easy to put together. The bank is sealed except for a small slot to put in money. Once filled she can drill a hole in the bottom to remove all the money she collects.
The project was fun for both of us to build. Made of out scrap pine for a moulding project I worked on several weeks ago we only needed to add a single piece of poplar. The video below shows Audrey as she teaches you how to build her iPod Bank. As you can see the finished project is very nice with rounded edges, smooth continuous lines and a rich cherry wood stain.
