I realize you may have had to have been there, but I think I broke the law today. Part of our summer remodel required a few unusable office items had to be disposed of in the rubbish bin belonging to the University. Making sure these items were not state property (George Mason University is Virginia’s largest public University) we pitched them in the bin. After doing so I saw the placard that indicated the bin is not for public use and violators will be prosecuted.
What I cannot figure out is why anyone would leave such a large dumpster at a public institution when it is not for public use. Should I be concerned of being prosecuted?
