10 Ways History’s Finest Kept Their Focus at Work

At the beginning of my break from work I am intrigued by an article I read about ‘the Greats’. Albert van Zyl writes in his blog some of the things great minds did to focus on their work.  Modern day presenteeism is not the solution nor is burning the midnight oil according to the author. You got to admit it does occasionally have some advantages though.

I encourage you to read his article as it has some interesting points. Here is his list:

1. Don’t work long hours

2. Take breaks3. Take even longer breaks

4. Stop work and sit down for meals5. Don’t work in the afternoons

6. Mix it up 7. Aim low8. Take time to relax

9. Get up early(?)10. Exercise!
