It is not a real secret that I have fallen in love with trees lately. By no means have I become a tree hugger. Instead, I enjoy trees for their variety and characteristics. The past two years I have planted Red Maples, Redbuds, Redwoods, and lots of shrubbery. This year I have ordered 10 more trees including more maples and dogwoods. Needless to say can’t wait for Spring to arrive.
How can you choose the correct tree for your plot? Easy, I have found a Tree Selector developed by the Virginia Tech. Take a look at the Tree Selector here.
You may also find the Arbor Day Foundation has a number of young trees and resources for planting trees.
