The Tempest is Raging

Corregidor BoatsIt was at my missionary farewell in August 1993 that the song Master the Tempest is Raging was sung. I had no idea the hymn was to be a theme running through many portions of my life as well as missionary service.
Towards the end of my term of service I was in an area called Limay Bataan. Near to our area was the World War II memorial island called Corregidor. With our mission president’s approval we planned a preparation day activity to visit this island with other missionaries and senior couples from neighboring areas and zones.
